Last September 8, the European Commission approved the new Interreg programme for the Atlantic Area, which will run from 2021 to 2027 and which aims to promote transnational cooperation between 25 Atlantic regions of four European countries.

The Programme renews the commitment to the Atlantic regions in supporting innovative initiatives that contribute to the growth of this space, solving common challenges across borders through the implementation of joint actions, exchange of good practices and contribution to new or current policies.
