ESPON is an EU funded programme that delivers quality expertise to public authorities responsible for designing territorial policies.

In close collaboration with the Atlantic Arc Commission (CAA), launched on December 28, 2023, a call for proposals to the development of a Targeted Analysis aimed at building guidelines for the development of an Atlantic Macroregion (AtlanticMRS). Proposals must be submitted by 10am CET on 19 February 2024.

The services contract will support efforts to build a common development vision for the Atlantic Area, which should strengthen territorial cooperation between the regions. It will contribute to reducing obstacles to common sustainable territorial development and strengthening actions aimed at addressing common territorial challenges and, thus, supporting actions to better define the contours of an Atlantic macro-region.
